Heritage Village of Janadriyah

Riyadh

About

Permanent heritage village outside Riyadh, used as the home of the Janadriyah National Heritage and Cultural Festival, with reconstructed regional houses, craft workshops, and folk displays from across Saudi Arabia.

The Heritage Village of Janadriyah, on the northeastern outskirts of Riyadh, was developed as the permanent home of the long-running Janadriyah National Heritage and Cultural Festival. The site brings together reconstructed traditional houses representing each of the Kingdom's regions, with characteristic mudbrick, stone, and timber styles, alongside craft workshops, a falcon and camel area, and exhibition halls. Outside the main festival period the village is used for cultural programming and group visits, providing a single venue where the range of Saudi regional heritage is presented together. Please verify access, opening times, and any current programming from the official source before planning a visit.
