Jebel Fihrayn, known as Edge of the World, is part of the long Tuwaiq escarpment that drops sharply onto the plain west of Riyadh. The dramatic cliff line and open views have made it one of the country’s most popular natural destinations for day trips from the capital.

The site is normally visited as a day excursion. The track in is rough and conditions change with rain, so trips are usually organised with a vehicle suited to the terrain and an experienced guide. This guide is an editorial orientation to the destination.
