About
The regional museum of Najran Province, presenting the archaeology and cultural heritage of one of the Arabian Peninsula’s oldest inhabited regions.
Najran Regional Museum is the principal museum of Najran Province in the south of the Kingdom, near the border with Yemen. The region is one of the oldest continuously inhabited parts of the Arabian Peninsula, with finds spanning prehistoric rock art at Bir Hima, pre-Islamic kingdoms, and Islamic-era heritage.
Galleries display archaeological material, traditional dress and weaponry, and architectural elements from the distinctive mud-brick towers of Najran. The museum is a good companion stop for visitors to the Hima cultural area and the city’s heritage districts. Please verify opening times from the official source.
