The rock art sites at Jubbah and Shuwaymis, in Hail Province, are inscribed together on the UNESCO World Heritage list as some of the richest and oldest concentrations of rock art on the Arabian Peninsula. The carvings span thousands of years and depict human figures, hunters, cattle, lions, and changing landscapes, recording a long story of human life in northern Arabia.
