Aqilat Heritage Museum

The Aqilat Heritage Museum in Unayzah is dedicated to one of the most distinctive trading traditions of central Najd: the Aqilat caravan traders, who organised the overland movement of camels, horses, and goods between the towns of Qassim and the markets of Greater Syria, Iraq, and Egypt. Displays cover the long caravan routes, the social organisation of the trade and its families, the role of Unayzah and Buraidah as supply hubs, and the documents, tools, and clothing connected to caravan life.
